Character concept: The mass steriotype of doom.

Steriotypes used: The constant turncoat, the one that knows everything yet tells nothing, the running joke, the resident chibi, the one that is never what it seems.

Common Form: The Horrid Chibi Dwagon(horridly cute that is)
barely longer than two feet, fat body, head only slightly smaller than the body with big sparkly eyes. Stubby tail, small wings that buzz to keep it in the air. Mauve green coloration, dark grey irises. Varying highlights. No hair, just scales.

A little creature that always seems to be happy to help... even if he's helping almost get everyone killed. It's never really his fault though, you see... if he hadn't brought people there, they would have never beaten that horrible bad guy, so really he was just providing aid.

Tends to vanish just before everyone tires to kill him, or just before something huge comes along and tries to kill everybody.

Multiple different forms. A full sized fire breathing dragon(which the chibi can always use the breath of, but only for sight gags), a giant armor made out of clear crystal, a multi headed hydra, a spirit with five wings. Some forms are only for cut scenes, others end up as a boss(with a reasonable explanation of why it wasn't him or you shouldn't kill him soon after), while others fight alongside the party as short term characters.

More ideas as I come up with them.

^_^ well see how it goez over

SRO/tagz

Edit: Few notes on the dwagon chibi

Short snout, very babyish. Few teeth, almost never seen, but fully articulated lips that work when it talks along its short muzzel.
Frill of darker green running down the back, a line of spikes or quills connected by skin, similar to a short version of a dimetrodon's sail.
Short elephentine legs, thick chunky, three pointed nails poking out of the front of each leg without any clear foot deliniaton.
Green wing vanes with red interconnecting tissue, giving it more or less red wings with green "fingers". The wings should be small, quite tiny, far to small to hold it up.
Head dimesions compared to body should be about .75 to 1 or a head sphere about three quarters the size of the body sphere. The form would be that of interconnecting spheres. The nose/snout would jutt from just below the middle of the head sphere while the tail section would extend from the body sphere as if the circle had been pulled at about one third it's height, out to a point. The tail would be as long as the body, not body and head.

Those are final if you're interested.

The other forms will take some work. The dragon would be similar to a Red Eyes Black Dragon, while the crystal armor would be more or less Eva shaped.

And here I go just babbling on, more for later if it proves neccesary.

I haven't drawn for ages and I have no idea how heavy armour works. Anyway I gave a stupidly rough lousy shot at it. Trial two should work out better I guess. But at least I think I got an idea for the helmet. And my men's anatomy is crap and worsened with the addition of armour.

Okay it looks like shit currently. I'll try better next time.

Actually, this looks fine as a draft. At the very least, you've gotten a good grasp on heavy armor. Good work, DG, and we'll await draft number two. :)

There's nothing at all wrong with that armor. A few points about how one like that would work. That would be a powered armor, imho, at least in the arm. I think you mixed in a little anime futuretech armor there, maybe a mosperada, it's in the joints you see, no play in the elbow joint. Your armor protects the vital points without loss of motion or sight, so I'd say you're doing fine. The torso, and neck guards are excellent. Hell, nobody's gonna hurt that guys neck. He should be rather tall btw, as a strike above his head will hit rather hard on a flat topped helm like that. Remember angled plates to bounce attacks off, just like moden tanks.

Study european field plate, germanic type, for the way to articulate the arms. If that's the only advice I can give you, you're doing fine.

Looks creepy...
But if put a Spartan (ol' Greek not the Master Chief) helmet should look nice. BTW, who is that supposed to be?... ???

Wherein I try to hang with the cool kids and embarass myself in the process:

O. Hakubi (OH-04FbA)

Age: 2X
Hair: Dark brown. Looks almost exactly like a slightly longer version of Leon Kennedy's hairstyle in RE4 (the bastard ripped me off) with a short mullet-esque bit in the back.
Eyes: Hazel, sans the massive glare spots.
Skin Tone: Pale
Height: 6'3"/191 cm
Build: Thin
Gender: Male

Head: Nothing
Upper Body: A dark red shirt, and over that a black jacket that hangs down to about hip length. Sticking out of the back of his jacket at about shoulder blade-level is a box-like metallic projection with two cylindrical jets the size of coffee mugs sticking out and downward diagonally. On either side of the box extending parallel from the edges are two long clips.
Lower Body: Dark blue jeans, a black belt and white metal-plated high-top sneakers.
Accessories: Two (2) breach sabers: OEE-17 "Stratovarius" and ER-9E3 "Sweet Luna." Doodles forthcoming, because they sort of, uh... defy description. Really, really long katars that double as swords sort of work...

EDIT: Ah, here we go:

Self-indulgent ego masturbation re: the weapons. Long story short: The wood-and-silvery-skinned one shoots lightning and the goofy transforming zweihander shoots lasers, or whatever passes for "holy" elemental in this game. Traumatic childhood events involving zombie fish and all that. They were just collecting dust in the back room, so...

As for attacks... if you've ever played the fancier Super Robot Wars you'll know what to expect.

Other Details: Gets distracted by large amounts of books, giant robots or any sort of high technology. Overly polite; doesn't talk much for fear of coming across as self-centered. Tries to protect women despite their being more than capable of protecting themselves. Tends to have VERY wild mood swings when confronted with problems he knows (thinks) he can solve (e.g., hard boss fights): Intense anger leading into calculated cruelty into self-effacing humor over getting so worked up about it.

Keywords: Chivalrous, moody, short-tempered, off in his own little world, quiet.

O. is probably going to be living somewhere in the Third Realm when all this goes down, possibly working for one of the shops in the area; ideally it would be some out-of-the-way store that you could totally miss. I just got the mental image of BL buying some stuff, O. asking what she needs three swords, a lance, two handguns and an enema syringe for, her replying and him jumping over the counter to join her in her quest because "I couldn't live with myself if I just stood by and watched a young woman run head-first into danger" (also, because the job sucks - how many plucky adventurers out to save the world do you think drop by there, anyway?). Meanwhile, BL is thinking, "hey, another meatshield."

...something like that.

Kaorin
Age: Between 15 and 22
Height: About 160-165cm
Frame [without armor]: You can't tell because of the armor!
Eyes: Not Shown (Goggles, or if no goggles are present, the eyes are hidden in shadow from hair sticking out under helmet)
Skin: Light Tan/Fair
Hair: Black, some of it sticks out under the helmet.
Head: A standard military tactical helmet.
Arms: Short sleeved, no distinguishable marks
Upper Body: Interceptor tactical armor system
[If you don't know what it is, it's here:
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ground/interceptor.htm
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interceptor_body_armor]
Legs: U.S.G.I. AG-489 Pants [Basically just military-green light pants]
Feet: Tactical Boots [black shiny variant of hiking boots, plus sheath for AR-15 bayonet]
Accessories: Usually seen holding an airsoft TM Gas MP5SD, or an airsoft Springfield Armor TM 1911 pistol. When not in use the pistol is holstered, or the MP5SD is slung over Kaorin's back.
Something else: Also carries a Sega Blaster, strangely enough.
Keywords: tactician, specialist, weird, slightly off tune, perverted

Knows all the good sniping points in the city, and how to repair/strengthen firearms-type weapons, at the cost of Circut/Fatigue though. Is also proficient in kendo, aikido, and basic karate. Extremely agile when not wearing armor, practically a stunt artist. Kaorin can also seemingly materialize/de-materialize weapon accessories at will.

Odd, confident [with no pride], very serious when fighting, but a perverted joker off the battlefield.

A special attack is pulling out a laser pointer and massloads of stormtroopers appear and butt!@$# the enemy masked by a large cloud of dust.
