The BL Game Project, unofficially called Nekohime, is currently looking a competent spriter/dot artist and animator to lead development in this area.
Duties and responsibilities include:Creating sprites based on existing artwork.
Being able to animate said sprites.
Setting agreed upon sprite standards.
Work towards both short-term and long-term spriting needs.
Communication via IRC is highly recommended, though not required.
As this is meant to be a long-term position, please don't apply if you merely want to do a one-shot thing. It will save both sides some unneeded frustration.
Please include a sampling of your work, as well.
As this is a volunteer-driven project, there is not much in the way of compensation or immediate reward. There's no question about it; sprite work is hard work. However, we can offer some things.A stake in the project; your voice will have some influence in how things are shaped.
Your name in the credits, and something to drop in your portfolio.
Other arrangements that can be discussed to make things more convenient for you.
